Date Selector Demo

Note: If the applet is not running you may need to add an exception to the Java Control Panel.

This demo shows 3 ways of using the DateSelector:

1. Embedded in the GUI
2. Displayed in a Dialog when the "Click to Select a Date" button is pressed
3. Displayed in a popup panel when the mouse hovers over the "Hover to Select a Date" component

In additon to mouse clicks when the DateSelector panel has focus it supports the following keys strokes:

• LEFT: move back 1 day
  
• RIGHT: move forward one day
  
• UP: move back 1 week
  
• DOWN: move forward 1 week
  
• PAGE UP: move back 1 month
  
• PAGE DOWN: move forward 1 month
  
• HOME: move back 1 year
  
• END: move forward 1 year
  

The dialog and popup panels also support:

• ESC: cancel any selected date and hide the panel
  
• ENTER: retain the selected date and hide the panel
  

In this demo the 3 DateSelectors are linked so that changes in one DateSelector will be reflected in the others.
